Often a quick lunch, whether on your plate or in your brown bag, includes a sandwich which usually means lunchmeat for many people. Lunchmeat hasn’t made its way into my grocery cart for years. Not since I became aware of harmful antibiotics and nitrates in many processed meats, along with tons of sodium and unhealthy fats, and high-calories fillers have I allowed anyone to eat lunchmeat while under my roof. I have found a wide variety of ready to eat turkey that is healthy, and yes, delicious. It is low sodium, fat-free, antiboitic and nitrate free, and is from free-range birds. It has good protein and is low calorie. It tastes like slices of leftover Thanksgiving turkey. This is one ready-made convenience food that you can indulge in without guilt. Try it. Enjoy a sandwich or wrap with healthy turkey. You will be glad you did.
