Fast Salsa Style Dip!

Every once in awhile I realize I should have prepared something for this event, this meal, this friend. In a pinch I make my fast salsa/dip. If you enjoy salsa you will more than likely love this too!  It is delicious used in chicken or beef tacos, or as a dip with your favorite chip. Ready to eat in just a few minutes it does pick up a bit more flavor if chilled a few hours. Easy, good for you, fast. What a great combination!

1 – 15.5 ounce jar chuncky, mild salsa. I usually find a brand that has corn in it too!

6 strips crispy bacon, crumbled.

1 15 ounce can black beans, rinsed and drained.

3/4 teapoon ground cumin

1 teaspoon chili powder

1/2 teaspoon garlic salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Mix beans, salsa, and spices. Crumble bacon and fold into salsa mixture. Cover and chill two hours, or serve immediately – whatever works for you!

**Garnish with 1/4 cup sour cream in center of salsa!
