spices

1 package of large, refrigerator, buttermilk biscuits

(Refrigerated package should contain 8 biscuits. This will yield 32 servings.)

6 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

2 teaspoons each dried basil, oregano, rosemary, thyme and black pepper

melted butter

¼ cup Parmesan cheese

Preheat the oven to 375˚.  Cut the butter into pieces and place in the 9 x 13 pan in the oven to melt. Once it is melted add the oil and sprinkle the spices into the melted butter and oil.  Spread  the mixture evenly in the bottom of your pan. Cut each of the eight biscuits into 4 equal wedges. Place all the wedges in the melted butter mixture. Stir gently to coat the wedges and spread out the pieces evenly in your pan. Bake for 10 – 12 minutes or until golden brown.  Remove the oven from the pan. Stir gently and sprinkle with the Parmesan cheese. Serve with your favorite flavored olive oil or marinara sauce. This recipe makes 32 bites. If you use regular sized biscuits this recipe will yield 48 smaller pieces. Either way = delicious!
